LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a driver who was killed when his car ran into a bridge support structure in Lincoln.

Police identified him as 54-year-old Todd Peterson.

Peterson was traveling eastbound on State Fair Park Road when his car left the road and crashed around 6 p.m. Thursday. Peterson was pronounced dead at the scene.



Investigators are still trying to determine why the car left the road.
