REEVES, La. (AP) - State police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident in Allen Parish.
Sgt. James Anderson says 74-year-old Dempsey C. Rion Jr., of Reeves, was northbound a parish road Thursday afternoon when he lost control of his 1996 Honda Gold Wing 3-wheeled motorcycle in curve, ran off the road and hit a fence.
Anderson says Rion, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Allen Parish Coroner’s Office.
