ELGIN, Okla. (AP) - An Oklahoma man wanted for manslaughter in the death of an Elgin man has been arrested in Louisiana.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says Donavan Dixon was arrested Monday in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, and will be returned to Comanche County.
Dixon is charged with second-degree manslaughter and distribution of a controlled dangerous substance in the August death of Chester Morris III. Investigators say Dixon injected Morris with methamphetamine while Morris was unconscious after being injected earlier with heroine.
Court records do not list an attorney for Dixon.
Two other suspects in the case are in custody.
