TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a mother and son accused of stealing chalices from Catholic churches in Tucson now are facing burglary charges linked to a synagogue.

Tucson police say 55-year-old Bridget E. Baker and 29-year-old Andrew W. Hoke each are being held on suspicion of trafficking in stolen property, third-degree burglary and criminal damage.

They say the two were linked to a Feb. 22 burglary at a Tucson synagogue.

Police say some of the stolen property was found by detectives Thursday and has been returned to the synagogue, Bay said.

They say Baker and Hoke are from the Rio Rico area.

They remain in the Pima County jail since their March 25 arrests in connection to thefts from three churches in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tucson.

Neither has a lawyer yet.
