WEST CHESTER, Pa. (AP) - A suburban Philadelphia college student has been arrested in connection with an alleged rape at a fraternity house.

West Chester University student Mauricio Sanjuan-Martinez was charged Thursday with rape, sexual assault and other offenses.

Police say he’s a suspect in the alleged rape of a female student around 4 a.m. Sunday at the Kappa Delta Rho fraternity house.

The state-owned university posted a notice to its public safety website. It isn’t clear if Sanjuan-Martinez was a fraternity member.

The 19-year-old Gettysburg man is jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail. Online court records didn’t include information on a lawyer to comment on the charges.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 16.
