Suspicious death near Mankato ruled accidental

RAPIDAN, Minn. (AP) - Authorities say they’ve closed their investigation into a suspicious death at a farm in Blue Earth County.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner ruled the death of 56-year-old Anthony Garcia at a farm near Rapidan Wednesday was an accident. Investigators say Garcia suffered multiple traumatic injuries due to a probable fall down some stairs.

KTOE-AM reports the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension helped with the investigation.
