JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - Teton County remains the most expensive county in Wyoming in terms of cost of living.

It cost 132 percent more than the state average to live in Teton County in 2014’s fourth quarter.

Teton County’s figures resulted from Jackson alone because the state Economic Analysis Division calculates cost-of-living numbers from the cities and towns in each county. Jackson is the only town in Teton County.

The next costliest county to live in between October and December of 2014 was Converse, at 109 percent of the state average, followed by Sublette, at 107 percent.

The Jackson Hole News & Guide reports (https://bit.ly/1xICZp9 ) that primary driver of Teton County’s high cost of living was housing, which was 157 percent of the statewide average during those months.
