STANTON, Ky. (AP) - A coroner says severe weather moving through the state is to blame for a death in eastern Kentucky.

Powell County Coroner Hondo Hearne says 45-year-old Catherine Carlson was camping with her husband and three children at Natural Bridge State Park when a large tree limb fell on their tent.

Her husband, Brian Carlson, was injured and taken to the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Hearne said the children didn’t appear to be injured.

Hearne says the limb fell as storms with high winds, heavy rain and hail moved through the area early Friday.
