ORANGE, Calif. (AP) - Anaheim police say officers following a suspect on an arrest warrant shot and killed a man when he exited a car with a weapon.

The Orange County Register reports (https://bit.ly/1NJkgvG) the shooting happened Saturday morning after officers followed the Toyota Prius into the neighboring city of Orange.

The initial suspect was a woman wanted on the warrant. Lt. Eric Trapp says the woman was in the Prius with a man, who got out of the car carrying a gun.

Police fired at least once, but it was not immediately clear if the man fired any shots.

The man was not immediately identified.
