SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - South Dakota’s archery turkey season has begun.
KELO-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1CErCha ) that the spring turkey season officially kicked off Saturday morning.
The firearm turkey hunting for the prairie, Black Hills and Custer State Park seasons will open all April 11. All turkey hunting runs through May 17.
Hunters can still get a leftover prairie license on a first-come, first-serve basis. South Dakota residents can get two Black Hills licenses, while non-residents are eligible for one.
