BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Officers from the CU-Boulder Police Department have made an arrest in a sexual assault case.

Authorities say Andrew Souser was arrested Saturday on suspicion of sexual assault and attempting to influence a public official.

Police say a woman was walking near the Engineering Center and someone followed her onto campus. The woman screamed when the suspect told her he was going to rape her and a man ran to help her while the suspect fled.

Another woman reported a similar encounter and police arrested Souser on campus.
