JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - Building permit activity in Jackson Hole has picked up significantly during the first three months of this year.
Both the town of Jackson and Teton County have approved more permits to landowners during the first three months of the year than they did during the same time period in 2014.
In addition, the value of those permits has jumped significantly.
In Jackson, 33 permits worth $8.82 million were issued in the first quarter. During the first quarter of 2014 the totals were 22 permits worth $3.32 million.
The county has issued 61 building permits so far in 2015, compared with 46 in the first quarter of 2014.
The Jackson Hole News & Guide reports (https://bit.ly/19SFlGL ) that much of this year’s activity in Jackson Hole is from commercial development.
