SEAT PLEASANT, Md. (AP) - Prince George’s County police have arrested a suspect in connection with the death of an aspiring rapper fatally shot while making a music video in Seat Pleasant.
Police say they arrested a 21-year-old man on Friday in Washington.
Police say the suspect and 21-year-old rapper and videographer Keaway Lafonz Ivy were shooting a music video together at around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday when the man fired at Ivy, striking him in the chest. Police say Ivy was found suffering from a gunshot wound on the 400 block of Eastern Avenue and died at the scene.
The suspect was being held in Washington on Friday awaiting extradition. He has not yet been charged.
