MADISON, Ind. (AP) - A southeastern Indiana man faces battery and other charges after he allegedly attacked police officers and residents at a Madison mobile home park.
Jefferson County prosecutors charged 31-year-old Clarence W. Seeley III of Connersville on Thursday with battery with a deadly weapon, battery against a public safety official and resisting law enforcement.
The Madison Courier reports (https://bit.ly/1MMF8ai ) court documents state that Seeley was fighting with two people at a mobile home park Wednesday when officers arrived and tried without success to restrain him.
Seeley allegedly kicked at officers as they carried him to a patrol car and then squirmed out of his seat while deputies tried to secure his seatbelt.
Seeley appeared for an initial hearing Thursday, and he remained held on bond Saturday at the Jefferson County Jail.
