Man killed by light rail train in Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - A pedestrian has died after being hit by a light rail train in Lakewood.

West Metro Fire officials say the man was hit and killed Friday night while on the tracks.

According to KMGH-TV (https://tinyurl.com/m8497p3 ), the tracks are lined with strands of cables strung through posts to keep people from crossing the tracks.
