BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Police are looking for a suspect in a pharmacy robbery in Burlington.

Police say a man wearing a surgical mask and goggles robbed the Lakeside Pharmacy Friday afternoon.

The man went to the pharmacy counter, indicated he had a weapon and demanded opiates. He then fled with the drugs into the surrounding neighborhood.

A search with a police dog did not find the suspect.

A store surveillance photo of the man has been released.

He was described as having a heavy build and wearing dark shorts and a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact Burlington Police Detective Michael Hemond at (802) 540-2229.
