MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) - A Mason City senior affordable living development has been awarded $485,064 in state tax credits.
The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1NPJISf ) that Legacy Manor of Mason City II was awarded the Workforce Housing tax credits through the Iowa Economic Development Authority on Thursday.
Legacy Manor opened in 2013 and plans to break ground on a second phase this spring, according to the company’s website.
The tax credit program makes state tax incentives available to developers building or rehabilitating housing in Iowa.
