MERIDEN, Conn. (AP) - Meriden police have identified a man who was found fatally shot at an apartment building.

Sgt. Darrin McKay says the victim is 32-year-old Victor Nina, who lived there.

Officers responding to a report of a gunshot found the man just before 5 a.m. Saturday. He says the man had been shot in the chest and was dead at the scene.



McKay says police have a suspect but no one has been arrested. The investigation is ongoing. He said police are confident there is no threat to the community.
