Montgomery officer killed in accident with tractor-trailer

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - A police officer in Montgomery has died from injuries suffered in a crash with a tractor-trailer.

Officer David Colley was responding to a call around 6 a.m. Saturday when the crash happened in an intersection.

Al.com (https://bit.ly/1Fu4O4W ) reports the 24-year-old officer was taken to Baptist South Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
