ST. LOUIS (AP) - The Six Flags amusement park in St. Louis had a shortened first day of the season.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/1bWF1s6 ) reports that some visitors were stranded on rides after a power outage happened shortly after 4 p.m. Friday. The park has procedures for evacuating riders.

The park sent out a Tweet on Saturday saying that it was open as scheduled after Ameren EU fixed an underground fault.
