WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - Police say a woman and two young girls are in good condition after being hit by a taxi as they crossed a street in Worcester.

Police said the cab driver did not appear to be speeding and no charges have been filed. The investigation is continuing.

A witness, Michael Ranese, tells the Telegram & Gazette (https://bit.ly/1GtLkyP) he saw the three starting to cross the street at about 8 p.m. Friday. He said the cab driver, who remained at the scene, didn’t appear to see them.



Police said the 24-year-old woman had a minor head injury, and her 5-year-old daughter had a facial injury and a minor head injury. A 2-year-old girl with them, who is not a relative, has a broken collar bone and a rib injury.
