CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (AP) - A Weston man faces sentencing on an arson charge stemming from a house fire in Harrison County.

The Exponent-Telegram (https://bit.ly/1GeXZa3 ) reports that 54-year-old George Allen Bonnell is scheduled to be sentenced on Tuesday in Harrison County Circuit Court. He had previously pleaded guilty to first-degree arson.

Two co-defendants, 40-year-old Chad Edward Cook of Beckley and 40-year-old Rebecca Ann Bonnell of Weston, were sentenced last week.

Chief Judge Thomas A. Bedell sentenced Cook to 10 years in prison for first-degree arson and one to five years for conspiracy to commit burning of insured property. Rebecca Bonnell received an eight-year sentence for first-degree arson.

Prosecutors say the fire was set to collect a $173,000 insurance payout.
