TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Police have identified a boy who was killed after he was struck by a UPS truck in a Tucson apartment complex.

Authorities said Saturday that 6-year-old Daylin Garcia Enos did not survive his injuries.

According to police, the UPS driver was making deliveries at the complex Friday afternoon and was backing up into a parking space.

They say the driver checked his mirrors, a backup camera and honked the horn before backing up.

The boy had been riding behind the vehicle when he was struck. He was not wearing a helmet.

Police say the driver remained at the scene and was cooperative with investigators.

No citations were issued to him.
