GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - Family members have identified a 22-month-old western Michigan boy who drowned in his family’s outdoor swimming pool.
The body of Calvin L. Kirkbride was found in the in-ground pool about 7 p.m. Friday in Grand Rapids.
The Grand Rapids Press (https://bit.ly/1IByBZv ) says there was a family gathering at the home when Calvin disappeared. He was found in the pool about an hour later.
A funeral Mass for Calvin will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Kentwood.
