IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) - Authorities in eastern Idaho say four people are being treated for burns after a person threw gas on a bonfire.

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office in a statement Saturday says deputies responded Friday after receiving a report that a bonfire had exploded.

Deputies found several vehicles transporting burn victims.

A total of four patients were taken to hospitals by ambulance or private vehicle.

Officials say three of the patients were flown to the University of Utah Burn Center and the fourth is being treated at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Names haven’t been released.
