BETHANY, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma law enforcement authorities have arrested a 37-year-old Guatemalan man in connection with an arson at a home in Bethany where a man’s body was discovered.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says Selvin Gonzalez-Perez was arrested Saturday night in Oklahoma City on complaints of first-degree murder and first-degree arson. Gonzalez had burns on his body and he was taken to an Oklahoma City hospital for treatment. It was not immediately known if he has an attorney.

Firefighters were called to the house on March 23 in connection with a reported house fire. After extinguishing the blaze, authorities discovered the body of an elderly man inside the house. Investigators say the victim has not yet been positively identified.

Authorities also arrested 42-year-old Miguel Martinez for accessory after the fact.
