GARDENDALE, Ala. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a collision that left a pedestrian dead on Interstate 65.
Alabama State Trooper Chuck Daniel said the first call about the crash came in around 8:20 p.m. Saturday on I-65 near Gardendale.
Daniel tells Al.com (https://bit.ly/1HD85ie) that the pedestrian was trying to cross I-65 northbound from the southbound side and was struck by several vehicles.
The person’s name wasn’t immediately released.
