INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. (AP) - A mansion known as “The Castle on Lake Tahoe” is up for sale at $26 million on the lake’s north shore.

Sierra Sotheby’s International says the 7,249-square-foot house it recently listed sits on 1.7 acres in Incline Village, with 180 feet of lake frontage.

The European-style house includes five bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, four wood-burning fireplaces, a wine cellar and tasting room, an elevator and an entertainer’s gourmet kitchen.



The Lakeshore Drive property includes a private pier with two motorized boat lifts, a boat launch, a deep-water buoy, a creek and views of both Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada.

Other features include lit gardens and fountains, illuminated ponds, patios and walking paths.

The current owners were not disclosed.
