WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. (AP) - Veterans can get information about benefits at an open house at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in White River Junction.

The event takes place Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

People who served in the armed forces and received an honorable discharge may qualify for VA health care benefits. Veterans and their family members will also be able to visit information tables to learn more about VA compensation benefits and health care services.



Veterans who want to apply for VA health care are asked to bring a copy of their discharge paperwork, a photo ID and financial information from the past calendar year.
