MEDINA, Ohio (AP) - Authorities say a 13-year-old girl died after an all-terrain vehicle crashed on private property in northeast Ohio.

The Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH’-guh) County medical examiner’s office says the girl was flown to a Cleveland hospital after the crash Saturday in Medina (meh-DY’-nuh) County’s Lafayette Township, roughly 30 miles southwest of Cleveland. She died that day.

The Northeast Ohio Media Group reports that the homeowner said the crash happened while he was hosting two military buddies and others for a reunion. It wasn’t clear how the girl ended up on the ATV or what led to the crash.

The medical examiner’s office identified the girl as Kayleyn Daumeyer of Maineville, a village in Warren County in southwest Ohio.
