DETROIT (AP) - Police say at least two people have died and as many as 15 have been injured in a series of shootings in Detroit.

The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press say the shootings began Sunday night and spilled into the early hours of Monday. The dead are a 45-year-old man and a 25-year-old man killed in separate incidents an hour or more apart. The injured include a 15-year-old girl.

Officer Dan Donakowski says the teen was hit in a drive-by shooting by someone firing from a van.

Ten minutes later, two women in their 20s were shot while standing on a porch around 11:30 p.m.
