Post Falls woman shot in face, boyfriend in custody

POST FALLS, Idaho (AP) - A Post Falls woman is in critical condition after being shot in the face.

The Spokesman-Review reports (https://bit.ly/1IxF1KZ ) that the Post Falls Police Department says her boyfriend called 911 Sunday afternoon to report he had shot his girlfriend in the face. When officers arrived on scene they found him in the street outside the home.

The woman was rushed to Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene.

Detectives are investigating the incident. The man has been taken into custody in connection with the attack.
