BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - LSU has sold out of season football tickets for the 12th straight season as 74,350 season tickets have been purchased for the 2015 home schedule.

Associate Athletic Director for Ticket Operations Brian Broussard said Monday that the tickets sold ties the school record which was set last year when Tiger Stadium was expanded to seat more than 100,000. The expansion allowed the school to offer nearly 6,000 additional season tickets. Prior to that, LSU’s season ticket sales record was 68,772, which was met three straight years from 2011-13.

LSU has sold out of season tickets every year dating back to the 2004 season when 66,232 season tickets were sold the year after the Tigers won the BCS National Championship.

The Tigers open their 11th season Sept. 5 against McNeese State.
