MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. (AP) - A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a barbershop shooting in suburban New York that left a man paralyzed.
Tyrone Cox was arraigned on Monday on attempted murder charges.
Cox is accused of shooting a 33-year-old New Rochelle man multiple times in front of Tristan’s Barber Shop in Mount Vernon on April 9.
Police say the victim had tried to settle a dispute between Cox and another man earlier that day.
The Journal News (https://lohud.us/1hvb4Cu ) says the victim sustained injuries to his legs and lower abdomen and remains paralyzed from the waist down.
It wasn’t immediately clear if Cox had a lawyer.
