FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) - A 14-year-old boy is being treated for non-life threatening injuries at a Fairbanks hospital after he was accidentally shot.

KTVA-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1Kl6qOd ) that Alaska State Troopers were notified of a gunshot wound victim Thursday.

Officials say their initial investigation shows the teen was shot when he grabbed a pistol by the barrel while his 17-year-old brother was manipulating the gun.
