BRIDGETON, Mo. (AP) - Police suspect that a 31-year-old woman found dead in a suburban St. Louis hotel room died of a drug overdose.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the woman was found dead by staff about 4:50 p.m. Wednesday at the Lodge Hotel in Bridgeton. Police say there were no outward signs of foul play, and the investigation at the scene indicated a possible overdose.

An autopsy is planned. The woman’s name has not been released.
