BALTIMORE (AP) - A 4-year-old girl has died after a fire broke out in an apartment complex in North Baltimore.
The fire was reported Friday night in the Evesham Park neighborhood. The girl was rescued along with a woman and two children. All four were taken to a hospital where the 4-year-old girl died.
In a separate fire Aug. 20, a 77-year-old woman was injured in Southeast Baltimore. Fire officials said Saturday that the woman died five days after being injured in the blaze due to burns and smoke inhalation.
The causes of both fires are under investigation.
