DENVER (AP) - A Denver woman whose 11-month-old daughter died after prosecutors say she was left in a bathtub with a sibling has been charged with child abuse resulting in death.

The Denver District Attorney’s Office announced the felony charge Monday. Prosecutors say 29-year-old Karla Ceballos-Andrade left her daughter, Karla Karoline Garcia, in a tub with a 2-year-old sibling on Aug. 13 and when she returned her baby was underwater and unresponsive. She died the following day.

Ceballos-Andrade is being held on $100,000 bail. She is due in court Wednesday to be advised of the charge against her.
