LAKEWOOD, Wash. (AP) - The city of Lakewood will be dedicating a new elementary school in memory of four police officers killed in 2009.

The Clover Park School District has invited the community to help celebrate the new Four Heroes Elementary School on Sept. 10 at 6 p.m.

The school district says the school named in honor of the police officers shot to death at a coffee shop in Lakewood on the morning of Nov. 29, 2009, will honor the dedication and sacrifice public servants make every day.
