6 cars destroyed in automotive shop fire

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Officials say six vehicles and numerous tires were destroyed in a fire at a Wilmington auto shop.

The fire was reported about 2:10 p.m. Wednesday at S & R Automotive. Firefighters say the burning tires produced heavy smoke, which could be seen blocks away.

WDEL-FM reports (https://bit.ly/1DtDuqu) that the blaze was brought under control in 10 minutes. No injuries were reported.
