PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities say two men were stabbed to death in different parts of Philadelphia and a third was killed by gunfire that wounded two other people.
Police said a 21-year-old was stabbed in the Mayfair section of northeast Philadelphia at about 3 a.m. Saturday. Witnesses told police he had yelled at a car going in the wrong direction, and a passenger jumped out and stabbed him before the car fled.
Officers were called at about 3:10 a.m. Saturday to the Grays Ferry section of south Philadelphia where a 30-year-old man was stabbed. Investigators said three women were being questioned.
Police said a man with a rifle opened fire in the West Kensington section of northeast Philadelphia at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday, killing a 46-year-old man and wounding two others, one critically.
