LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) - Police say a Lake Charles man has been arrested on an obscenity charge accusing him of exposing himself to a woman who had been trying to help him get a job.

Lake Charles Deputy Police Chief Mark Kraus said in a news release Friday that the woman had been working for weeks with Goldyn Briggs.

He says Briggs was arrested without incident at his home Thursday.

Police say Briggs was on parole after a 2010 conviction for carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
