Woman dead after being struck by 2 cars in Harford County

ABERDEEN, Md. (AP) - Authorities in Harford County are investigating a fatal hit-and-run.

Authorities with Maryland State Police say Jennie Butler of Aberdeen was struck by two vehicles Friday while crossing Route 40 with her daughter. Butler died at the scene.

State Police say the first vehicle fled but the second stopped at the scene.

Officials say Butler’s daughter could only describe the first vehicle as a passenger vehicle with possible damage to the front and windshield.
