SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Police say two women and a girl were hit by a vehicle while crossing a passenger pickup lane at Salt Lake City International Airport.
Authorities say the girl and one woman were taken to Intermountain Medical Center after the Wednesday evening accident. The nature of their injuries wasn’t immediately released.
The other woman’s injuries were not life-threatening.
Airport Police Sgt. Geno Garcia says it seems to be “a very, very bad accident.” He says the pedestrians had just arrived at the airport and were in a crosswalk when they were hit.
Police say the driver of the vehicle was cooperative and the cause of the crash wasn’t immediately known.
