LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities say a man arrested in Indianapolis is wanted on a murder charge in the shooting death of a 39-year-old man last month after a fight in a Las Vegas apartment complex parking lot.

Las Vegas police say 30-year-old Damien Ford was arrested Wednesday in Indiana on an unspecified warrant.

He was being held pending extradition to Nevada to face charges in the Nov. 23 slaying of Dwayne Autry Taylor.

The Clark County coroner has ruled Taylor’s death a homicide.

Police said the shooting happened at an apartment complex north of downtown near an elementary school.

Police said Taylor and Ford fought in the parking lot before Taylor was shot and his assailant fled the scene.
