EAST ORANGE, N.J. (AP) - Investigators are seeking a motive for a deadly street shooting in northern New Jersey.

Essex County prosecutors say 65-year-old East Orange resident Jacke Bush was pronounced dead around 1:20 a.m. Saturday, shortly after he was found on Essex Street by East Orange police responding to reports of shots fired in the area.

Authorities say Bush was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. But a cause of death has not yet been determined.

No further details were released about the shooting, which is under investigation by the county’s Major Crimes Task Force.

No arrests have been made.
