“Glee” star Mark Salling has reportedly been arrested for possession of child pornography after police served a search warrant at his Los Angeles home.

The LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force obtained a warrant and served it at Mr. Salling’s home in the 9900 block of Helen Avenue Tuesday morning.

“He was taken into custody this morning for possession of child porn,” LAPD Officer Aaron Jefferson told People magazine.

The news — initially reported by the crime news show “Crime Watch Daily” — was confirmed by TMZ, which also cited sources saying police found hundreds of images on Mr. Salling’s computer.

TMZ reported: “Our sources say an ex-girlfriend of Salling’s tipped off cops and they investigated before the raid to make sure it wasn’t a revenge allegation.”

The 33-year-old actor, best known for his role as Noah “Puck” Puckerman in “Glee,” was arrested and taken to the police station for booking, TMZ reported.

In 2013, Mr. Salling was sued by a woman who claimed he committed sexual battery on her by forcing sex without a condom. He denied the charge and the case was settled, TMZ reported.
