BEDMINSTER, N.J. (AP) - Donald Trump may take the lead from many snowbirds and opt to be buried in Florida instead of New Jersey.

A Trump Organization representative told Bedminster’s Land Use Board the mogul may want to spend eternity in Florida instead of in a cemetery at Trump National Golf Club.

The Courier News of Bridgewater (https://mycj.co/1Dem9yr ) reports Ed Russo told the panel the Trump Organization will move ahead with plans to build the cemetery with graves for club members and veterans.

Trump had fought for years to build a private cemetery near the golf club before winning approval in 2013 for a maximum of 10 grave sites, limited to Trump and members of his immediate family.

The club will host the 2017 USGA Women’s Open and the 2022 PGA Championship.
