LOS ANGELES (AP) - Police say a 13-year-old girl was wounded in the leg by an apparent stray bullet while she was waiting at a bus stop in South Los Angeles.
Officer Liliana Preciado says the shooting occurred about 7 a.m. Tuesday on South Central Avenue near 92nd Street.
Preciado says the girl was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
There were no immediate arrests.
