FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The University of Arkansas is announcing the impact the school has on local and statewide economies.

The analysis will be released Tuesday morning on the Fayetteville campus.

The report was prepared by the Center for Business and Economic Research in the Sam M. Walton College of Business. It’s the second economic impact report prepared for the university by the center.

University officials say the report will show that the university’s contribution to the economies of Arkansas and the northwest part of the state has increased significantly during the past five years.

The center has produced nearly 100 economic impact reports for businesses and nonprofit organizations since 2001.
